Motif EIGHT of the 25 Motif Challenge

As promised, here is the second shuttle-tatted motif.
CORRECTION TO ORIGINAL POST:
I had my motifs mixed up... this post now has the correct info on the pattern!
This is Figure 57 - Dress Trimming from the Priscilla Tatting Book No. 1, available for download from the AntiquePatternLibrary. It was shuttle tatted in one of my 'hand-dyed' threads.
This motif tatted up quickly and easily... although I did add additonal stitches to lengthen the chains in the the two rows with picots.

The 'hand-dyed' thread used was my own thread... made with Liquitix brand acrylic artist's paints in Hooker's Green, Cobalt Blue and Cadmium Yellow.... painted on with a slight addition of water... left to soak for several hours, and then rinsed and re-rinsed.
